Winners of the Best Rural Business 2020 Award

Studfold are delight to have won the Best Rural Business Award at the Harrogate Advertiser Excellence in Business Awards 2020. The winners were announced on Thursday 15 October by BBC Look North legend Harry Gration MBE via a live-streamed virtual ceremony.

Bronze Award in the 2020 Yorkshire White Rose Awards

Having previously been winners and finalists for the Yorkshire White Rose Awards in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park category, we’re delighted to announce that Studfold Adventure Trails has won a Bronze Award in the category of Small Visitor Attraction of the Year 2020.

This category is for smaller Yorkshire businesses that provide a truly memorable visitor experience and demonstrate excellence across every aspect of their business. It is such an accolade for Studfold Adventure Trail to win this prestigious award and be recognised for the great experiences we provide. Well done to all the other winners.

Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Award
Winner in 2014; finalist and runner-up in 2018

We were delighted to be a finalist again in these awards, having previously won the Best Holiday Park in Yorkshire Award. It was an amazing night at the awards and we were one of four caravan and camping parks in the final from the whole of the Yorkshire region. It was so nice to be recognised for the holiday experience we create at Studfold. Thank you to Welcome to Yorkshire and all our visitors who have written great reviews over the years!

The judge said, “There is a real sense of community - particularly within the statics but also seasonal and other guests... The general attitude of this family-run business is to make people feel welcome, help everyone to better understand the countryside and to be considerate of the environment - as well as having lots of old- fashioned fun in the process. This is a traditional business and it is very well run as awards prove.”

Gold Garden Award

We were so pleased at Studfold to be presented with the Gold Garden Award from Harrogate Biodiversity Group for Studfold Adventure Trail. The award recognises all the work we do in conserving this special part of Upper Nidderdale, and how we enable the general public to experience this unique and wonderful part of the Yorkshire Dales.

Yorkshire Post Rural Awards 2019 - finalist

It was our great pleasure to be listed as a finalist for the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards, Best Rural Tourist Attraction of 2019 in recognition of our fantastic Adventure Trail, which gives families a magical and mysterious reason to visit Nidderdale. Visitors can choose to stay for the day, or longer at our Touring Park, to get back to nature, discover treasure, and learn what it’s like to be a fairy in the dell! Our Adventure Trail is such a great opportunity to experience the great outdoors at its best and make happy memories that last forever.
