Welcome to Yorkshire has announced the routes for the UCI Road World Cycling Championships and Para-Cycling Road Races (C1 Event) happening between September 21-29th 2019. One race, the elite women’s race is coming through Lofthouse, (up our amazing Trapping Hill, 5 mins from Studfold). The Elite mens race is going through Masham only 10 miles away and the under 23 Mens race through Pateley bridge only 7 miles away!!  Studfold will be a brilliant place to stay and take in this amazing atmosphere! 

Trapping Hill in Lofthouse ( Called the Cote De Lofthouse) will be an amazing place to stand as the small, winding dales road is surrounded by a natural embankment perfect for standing and viewing the steep climb!! ( 2015 Tour de France ...Buttertubs comes to mind!!!).  This will be a brilliant spectator area. Studfold Caravan, Glamping and Camping Park is only a 10 min walk or 5 min bike ride away from this hill climb! 5 min. walk to Lofthouse and then head up the hill!! You can see the road from the Park!

Studfold is a quality touring park with great facillities - book now! Camp, Glamp, Caravan or Motorhome and Campervan. Places will be limited! We have 56 touring pitches. For our regular customers this weekend will be a very busy one and possiblily noiser than normal, it will not be just family camping! Bring your bikes and have a great experience. Nidderdale is beautiful, one of the most amazing Yorkshire Dales. Studfold is a place that visitors and friends return to again and again!

A great season will begin. We can accommodate individual, family and  groups. Cafe on or near site serving breakfasts and light lunches and picnics!

Ask for bike storage and washing facillities. We will help to accommodate your needs.

One evening (Date to be decided) you are invited to a 'Jacobs Join' of Yorkshire Cheese and Wine. Please bring a sharing contribution of some Yorkshire Cheese and Wine or Beer to join in the festivities in our Camping Shelter!
